30 Payment Purchase Contract Terms

1800USABAND.com & taylormusic.com is the Official Web Site for the E-Commerce Division of Taylor Music, Inc. located in Aberdeen, South Dakota. All terms and agreements relating to this contract are with Taylor Music, Inc.
Monthly Payments
The monthly payment is the same for the entire length of the contract which is 30 months. At the end of the 30 month period, assuming payments are up to date, the account will be Paid In Full.
No Interest or Finance Charges
There are NO INTEREST or FINANCE CHARGES associated with this contract.
Canceling Contract & Return Option
This contract can be canceled any time during the 30 months by returning the instrument with payments up to date. Payments paid are non-refundable if canceled and returned. Instrument returns are to be sent directly to our corporate location:

Sales Tax
There is NO Sales Tax charge unless the instrument is shipped to or within the State of South Dakota. If within South Dakota, sales tax will be added to the monthly payment.
FREE Shipping
The instrument will be shipped by UPS/Fedex Ground FREE within the continental United States. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, AE, AA, AP, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands will be shipped by Priority Mail with 1/2 of the shipping costs paid by the customer. Any expedited shipping methods such as UPS 2nd Day Air will be additional.
FREE Service Warranty for 30 Months
Instrument repairs will be done at NO CHARGE at the Taylor Music, Inc. location during the 30 Month Contract period. (Customer pays mailing costs in. Taylor Music pays return costs.) The FREE Service Warranty keeps the instrument in good playable condition. It does not include services such as cosmetic, polishing, etc. Questions? Please feel free to call 1-800-872-2263.
FREE Instrument Exchange Policy
There is no charge for changing instruments. As long as the exchange is within the 30 Month Contract Period it is possible to exchange for another beginner instrument in comparable condition offered on the payment plan. All payments made will apply towards the 2nd instrument. (Example: Clarinet for Alto Sax; Trumpet for Trombone) String Instruments: Size changes for string instruments (violins, violas, & cellos) will be made at no additional charge for a string instrument.
FREE Music Stand, Book, and Supplies
An assortment of supplies (reeds, oils, swabs, sticks, etc.), music stand and book are provided FREE with each Beginner Instrument. Free supply assortments vary from instrument to instrument. Retail Value $47 to $83 worth depending upon instrument.
NO Insurance Charge
Taylor Music, Inc. does not include insurance on the instrument nor does Taylor Music, Inc. make any insurance charge. Many homeowner policies cover instruments. Contact your agent for coverage.
Making Payments
A coupon book will be mailed showing the payment amount due and due date for each month. Payments are to be received by the 5th of each month. Payments can be made by Check or Automatic credit/debit card.
~ Automatic payments are drawn on the 5th of each month.
Authorization for Automatic credit/debit card payment can be indicated on the contract.

Late Charges
There is a late fee of $5.00 on payments over 30 days past due.
Subject to Credit Approval
This contract application is subject to Credit Approval.
A consumer report from credit reporting agencies will be obtained in considering this application and for the purpose of update, review, or collection. All information is private and complies with our Privacy Policy.
