Oboes made of Select Grenadilla lower joint & bell. High quality plastic resin upper joint. Metal lined tenon sockets & silver plated posts, bands & bell ring. Stainless steel arbors & wire springs. Nickel silver keys with 18% nickel silver hinge tubing & heavy silver plating. Handmade full conservatory mechanism including split ring Eb-E trill key, F# key tab, third octave key & low Bb vent key. Cork pads on low C & above. Individually hand tuned to A-440 pitch at 72 F, with maximum resonance, projection. Teflon tipped stainless steel adjusting screws, French style professional instrument case.
