Oboes made of Select Grenadilla body with metal lined tenon sockets & silver plated posts, bands & bell ring. Stainless steel arbors & wire springs. Nickel silver keys with 18% nickel silver hinge tubing & heavy silver plating. Handmade full conservatory mechanism including split ring Eb-E trill key, F# key tab, 3rd octave key & low Bb vent key. Cork pads on low C & above. Individually hand tuned to A-440 pitch at 72 F, with maximum resonance and projection. Teflon tipped stainless steel adjusting screws, French-style professional instrument case.
